Day 2 of the trip, we started off at about 8.30am to have breakfast at some tourist place restaurant near the Angkor Wat temple area.. It was the worst meal I ever had in Cambodia.. I ordered an American Breakfast set while Eric ordered some soup noodle. The scrambled eggs of the American Breakfast set is SWEET.. In my whole life, other than Tamago is supposed to taste sweet, I have never expected scrambled eggs to be sweet.. :-S

Bacon and Egg, $3.50 USD

Rice Noodle Soup, $2.50 USD

Lesson learnt, never ever eat at the tourist place restaurant. Trust me, we have tried a few, is expensive and doesn’t taste good at all. Always eat around your guest house area or some famous restaurants than wasting money on those disgusting food!

After the disappointing breakfast, we kick start on our temple marathon!

South Gate of Angkor Thom, Central Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Pimeanakas, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Victory Gate (5th Gate), Thomammom, Chau Say Tevoda, Stone Bridge, Ta Keo, Ta Phrom!

Bantaey Kdei

Prasat Kravan

We had a short rest at Bantaey Kdei, rewarding ourselves with coconut drink! Under the burning hot sun, is definitely refreshing to have cold coconut drink to cool ourselves down! And we even bought 2 t-shirts for only $3 USD! That is dirt cheap! =P~

After the short rest, we continued on Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan before we head back for dinner at a Cambodian shop house near our guest house!

Khmer Noodles, $1 USD

Kari Noodles, $2 USD

Well, there is always room for desserts! After the dinner, we decided to head back to the restaurant at our guest house for desserts to reward ourselves for the hard work! :)
