Today’s dinner is stir fry pork and chicken with asparagus and cabbage.

I like to eat asparagus, but I hate to peel of the thick stems of the asparagus. Especially tough when it comes to thin stems of asparagus, they are simply fragile! This dish is a hit for hubby and I! We simply love the dish. We can taste everything from meat to vegetable and is not too salty! We were satisfy after the meal!

Stir-Fry Pork and Chicken with Asparagus and Cabbage

  1. 300g minced pork
  2. 100g chicken filet, cut into bite size
  3. 4 pieces of dried shitake mushroom, soaked till soft and sliced
  4. 100g asparagus, cut into 1 inch pieces
  5. 1/2 medium cabbage, thinly sliced
  6. 3 clove garlic, minced
  7. 1 tsp onion powder (optional)
  8. 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  9. 1/2 tsp fish sauce
  10. 2 tbsp water
  1. Heat the pan over medium heat.
  2. Once the pan is warm, add the minced garlic and saute till fragrant.
  3. Add the minced pork and chicken filet.
  4. Stir-fry till medium done and shitake mushroom. Stir and mix well.
  5. Add onion powder, coconut aminos and fish sauce. Mix well.
  6. Add cabbage and asparagus, stir-fry to mix well.
  7. Add water, cover with lid and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes or till asparagus is done and cabbage is soft.
  8. Turn of the heat and serve warm.
  1. You can replace the meat with anything that you prefer or just use one type of meat.
